Review | Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint

Hey everyone!

So over the summer I have become quite obsessed with the Barry M Gelly range. These nail polishes are meant to give your nails the salon look but at a much cheaper price and they do just that! They make your nails super shiny and that shine lasts for as long as you have the polish on your nails, unlike many other nail polishes which I find lose their shine after only a couple of days! I currently have six nail polishes from this range and absolutely love them all! They apply to the nails so well and are not thick in formula at all! They are very opaque and I only have to apply two coats to cover the nail. The range covers all different shades from light to dark, to bright to pastels. My favourites, as you can probably tell, are the lighter, pastel colours! I just think that they are gorgeous colours for this time of year and can be taken into autumn and winter, to brighten up any look over the coming cold months! Retailing at only £3.99, you can't go wrong!

GNP 11 - Dragon Fruit

GNP 21 - Sugar Apple

GNP 13 - Papaya

GNP 8 - Grapefruit

GNP 6 - Prickly Pear

GNP 28 - Coconut

I would highly recommend these nail polishes to anyone, they are definitely worth the money!

Favourite Summer Foundations...

Hey everyone!

So today's post is about the three foundations which I am currently loving for the summer months! With the weather being slightly better than usual in the UK at the moment, apart from a few rainy days still, I prefer to go with foundations which are much lighter on the skin, but which can be built up if necessary. When the weather is particularly warm, I find that I don't use as much foundation as usual, so they also last a lot longer, which is a huge bonus for my bank balance...

Rimmel | BB Cream | Light | £6.99

So, this foundation is the latest one which I have purchased and I absolutely love it! Out of all three in this post, this foundation gives the lightest coverage and is perfect for those days where it is too hot for a lot of makeup but gives you a nice, healthy glow (even though it is a matte finish!) It is classed as a BB cream and claims to be a 9-in-1 skin perfecting foundation, with qualities such as minimizing the appearance of pores and concealing dark circles along with many other things and I do actually agree with every single one! It is an all round excellent foundation which would be perfect for any skin type! It also has SPF 15, which is always a plus! At only £6.99, it is the ideal foundation and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Rimmel | Lasting Finish 25 Hours | 100 Ivory | £7.99

Now this foundation, out of all three, is probably the highest coverage and the one that I find gives my skin the air-brushed look! It is quite a thick formula, so I would use this on the days where I am wanting to cover any blemishes straight away, without having to pile on lots of concealer, or if I was going out somewhere special! This foundation claims to last for up to 25 hours, and even though I've never kept it on for that long, it definitely does last all day! It is extremely hydrating, however it is not a matte finish, so I would not recommend this one to people who have particularly oily skin, but other than that it is a great foundation at an excellent price!

MAC | Studio Fix | NC15 | £21.50

Well where to start with this foundation! It has been one of my favourite makeup products to use since the beginning of the year and I am pretty obsessed with it; it is my every day go-to foundation! It gives the perfect amount of coverage, but can be built up as much as you like, to achieve the look you want. It applies to and blends into the skin so easily, covering any blemishes! It also has SPF 15, which is great for this time of year to help protect your skin from the sun. This foundation has a matte finish and I would highly recommend it to anyone! Even though it is a little pricier than the other two foundations, it is definitely worth the money!

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine - Papaya

Well, where to start with this nail polish; I absolutely LOVE it! It is such a gorgeous coral/orange shade, which makes your skin look super tanned! As soon as I spotted it on the Barry M stand, I just had to buy it. It is part of their Gelly Hi Shine range, which I am a little obsessed with anyway, so it is the perfect nail polish for me! It is super opaque and I only had to apply two coats to achieve the look above. It also drys quickly which is ideal, when you are as impatient as I am when waiting for nail polish to dry! It is so shiny, and unlike many other nail polishes, the shine stays for pretty much as long as you have the polish on your nails; AMAZING!! It is such a summery shade and is perfect for this time of year; it is a definite must have!

A Couple Of MAC Bargains...

Hey everyone!

So yesterday, me and my family took a trip to York for the day and on the way home we called at York Designer Outlet (much to my excitement) and the first shop I stumbled across was The Cosmetics Company! If you don't know what this shop is, it is basically a shop which sells higher end brands of cosmetics at a cheaper price! As soon as I walked through the door, the first thing I saw was the word MAC!!! I practically ran across the shop as I could see there was a large selection of MAC products to choose from and was extremely excited! In the end, after about 20 minutes browsing through all of the products, I purchased a lipstick and a paint pot. The lipstick which I chose is a Rich Lipstick in the shade Dreaminess. It is a gorgeous nudey pink shade which smells incredible, like strawberries and cream, mmm!! Now the second product which I bought is probably one of the most talked about MAC products out there and has been on my MAC wishlist for a long time now! You will understand why I was so excited when I saw this in the shop and why I just had to purchase it! It is the MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre (eeeee!), a makeup artist/Youtuber/ bloggers best friend in the beauty world!

Rich Lipstick - Dreaminess
RRP - £20
I Paid - £14

Paint Pot - Soft Ocre
RRP - £15.50
I Paid - £10.50

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro - 270 Steel Grey

Well, I am quite funny when it comes to nail polishes; I go through phases of  liking certain types of colours for a length of time, like pastel shades or darker shades, but at the moment I am a little obsessed with nudey/browny/grey shades. This nail polish has quickly taken place as my favourite nail polish in my whole collection! It is the most gorgeous browny grey colour and the formula is incredible! It is such a highly pigmented shade, but is not thick at all! It goes onto the nails perfectly and drys so quickly! I only had to apply two coats to achieve the look above and I love it! It is the perfect shade for this time of year to pair with any brightly coloured outfit and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

What do you think of this shade of nail polish? Let me know in the comments below!

Review | L'Oreal Glam Bronze

Hi everyone!

Well I don't know where to start with this bronzer; I am pretty obsessed with it! I have always struggled with bronzers, sometimes opting to just not wear one because the tone wasn't right for my skin. Bronzers which I have had in the past have either been too orange or not pigmented enough to even see on the skin, but this one is just perfect. It is a silky finish bronzer in the most gorgeous sun kissed tan shade. It just adds a natural glow to the skin and is ideal for contouring. It is long lasting and doesn't need to keep being re-applied throughout the day. It is the ideal compact bronzer, which comes with a mirror and brush (which I don't personally use, but it's a nice extra touch). The packaging is one of my favourite things about this product as it is rose gold, who doesn't love rose gold right?! Overall, I am extremely happy with this product and have used it every single day since purchasing it! For only £7.99, it is the ideal bronzer to have in your makeup bag!

Golden Bronze 6

I would highly recommend this product to anyone, I absolutely love it! Have you tried this bronzer? What do you think of it? Let me know in the comments below!
