NOTD #3

Rimmel London 60 Seconds Rita Ora - 873 Breakfast in Bed

Well this is the most gorgeous mint colour nail polish I have ever seen! As soon as I spotted it on the Rimmel stand, I knew I needed it to add to my huge collection; because you can never have enough nail polishes, right? Well that's what I keep telling myself anyway! The previous NOTD post I did was also on Rimmel's 60 Second range and I simply cannot fault it! They are the most gorgeous and easy to apply nail polishes and definitely dry in 60 seconds, which is probably the best thing about them for an impatient person like me! This is an absolutely gorgeous colour for Spring and Summer; instantly adding a pop of colour to any outfit! For all of you who want a stunning pastel colour nail polish, without breaking the bank, then this is a must! Priced at just £3.69, you can't go wrong!

Have you tried this nail polish? What do you think of it? Let me know in the comments below!

Make a Statement

Hey everyone!

For the past six months or so, I have been pretty obsessed with statement necklaces! I own so many different ones, but mainly stick to just five in particular. I love pairing them with a jumper or a top to add a bit more sparkle and jazz it up a bit; its such a simple thing to do, but it changes the whole look of an outfit! Every time I see a new one in a shop or magazine, I just want to buy it, but I don't think my bank balance would thank me! I've got to the point now where I think I've got enough statement necklaces to last me a lifetime, so thought I would share my favourite five with you.

Primark

Matalan

Primark

Primark

H&M

So those are my favourite statement necklaces! What's your favourite out of the five above? Let me know in the comments below.

Review | Rimmel London Scandaleyes Mascara

Hi everyone!

Well I don't even know where to start with this product; I absolutely LOVE it! I have been using this product for over two years now and haven't looked back. I use it every single day without fail and if I was only allowed one piece of makeup for the rest of my life, this would be it! The wand applicator is very thick which I love, as it gets right between the lashes giving them a lot more thickness. I personally have quite long eyelashes anyway, but this mascara makes them super long! I have the shade Extreme Black and usually apply two coats for a bolder lash look. This mascara does not clump easily and I find that it can last me between one and two months; so with a price tag of just £6.99, you can't go wrong!

I would highly recommend this product to everyone; I swear by it!
Have you tried this mascara before? What do you think of it? What's your favourite mascara? Let me know in the comments below.

Favourites | MUA Collection

Hey everyone!

So this post is all about my favourite MUA products. If you have never heard of MUA (Makeup Academy), it is a low cost makeup brand available only on their own website and in Superdrug stores. I first discovered the brand at the end of last year and have loved it ever since! It is so cheap and affordable and great quality for the price you pay. I would highly recommend it to anyone! Here are my favourite products from the brand...

Eyeshadow Palette - Undressed

Eyeshadow - Top Left - Shade 22-Pearl, Top Right - Shade 17-Matt, Bottom Left - Shade 24-Pearl, Bottom Right - Shade 16-Matt

Colour Blast Eyeshadow Tint - Stay

Powerbrow Shape + Highlight - Mid Brown

Bronzer - Shade 3

Blush - Bon Bon

Lip Liner - Softly Lined

My personal favourites from the range are the single eyeshadows! They are so easy to apply and are highly pigmented. They are great for just applying all over the eyelid if you simply don't want to bother with the full, out there eyeshadow look! The undressed palette is gorgeous for creating a smoky eye effect, whether it be a pink smokey eye or a natural smokey eye, you can get lots of different looks from the palette! The eyeshadow tint is one of my latest products to the collection and I absolutely love it! I use it in the inner corners of my eyes to brighten them up, which is a great look for Spring time. The powerbrow is a soft texture eyebrow pencil which glides onto the eyebrows so easily and comes with a browbone highlighter, to add even more depth to the look! Both the bronzer and the blusher together give the face a natural glow. Neither are highly pigmented, but both can be built up to create the look you want, whether it be subtle or more dramatic! I had been wanting to try a lip liner for a long time, but really wasn't sure whether they would be for me. I decided to buy an MUA one as they are so cheap and I'm so glad I did! It is the perfect shade for me as I mainly wear light pink lipsticks, and this simply adds more depth and texture to the look.

So those are my favourites; what are yours from the MUA range? Do you own any of the products above? What do you think of them? What would you recommend for me to try from the MUA range? Let me know in the comments below.

Review | MAC Studio Fix Fluid

Hi everyone!

So today I am reviewing the MAC Studio Fix Fluid, SPF 15, which I have had for nearly two months now. I had been wanting to buy this foundation for a long time, but with the quite steep price tag, compared to drugstore foundations, I was a little reserved about purchasing it. However, for my birthday, back in January, I received a voucher to spend at Debenhams and I just couldn't resist! I went into my local Debenhams and got the shade matched to my skin tone, which turned out to be NC15. I have used this foundation every single day without fail since buying it and I am certainly not disappointed; I absolutely love it! It is such a high coverage foundation, eliminating all of my blemishes and evening out my skin. Also, having SPF 15 helps protect the skin in the sun, which is always a bonus! I apply the foundation all over my face and set it with my powder; I find it looks pretty much the same at the end of the day as it did at the beginning, which is what everyone wants, right? As I said before, I have been using this product for nearly two months now and still have about a quarter of the bottle left, so it's definitely worth the money! I will for sure be running back to buy another bottle as soon as it has all gone!

(Top - Before, Bottom, After)

I love this foundation and would highly recommend it to anyone! Let me know in the comments below if you have this foundation and what you think of it? What other high end foundations can you recommend?
