Favourites | Spring Nail Polish

Hey everyone!

I just thought I would do a quick post for you today to show you what nail polishes I am absolutely loving for this time of year! As you will be able to tell, all of my favourites at the moment are all pasteley (think I just made that word up!) shades, which are ideal for Spring time and even leading into Summer! My current favourites are Essie and Rimmel; I just LOVE both these brands! All five of these nail polishes are very opaque, requiring only two cotes and they all dry extremely quickly; always a good thing!

Essie - Cute as a Button

Essie - Rock the Boat

Rimmel - Breakfast in Bed

Rimmel - Marshmallow Heaven

Rimmel - Ring a Ring o'Roses

These nail polishes are perfect for the Spring and I absolutely love them all! I would highly recommend all five to anyone who wants to brighten up their nail polish collection!
What's your favourite nail polish for this time of year? Let me know in the comments.

Mini Spring Fashion Haul

Hey everyone!

I thought it was about time I did a fashion related post rather than a beauty one for a change! So over the Easter weekend I went into my local town and accidentally ended up purchasing a few new bits... ooops! It didn't help that I'd just been paid either so I kind of went with the intention that I knew I had money and I would probably end up spending some of it, why not?! I recently had a massive clear out of my wardrobe and sent a couple of bags full of bits to charity, so I thought it was about time I added some new springy items to my wardrobe to brighten it up a little; because who doesn't need new clothes right? Here are the things I picked up whilst on my little shopping spree...

New Look

H&M

Primark

So those are the things that I picked up over the weekend and I absolutely love them all; I can't wait to wear them through Spring and into Summer! What's your favourite shop at the minute for Spring/Summer clothes? Let me know in the comments!

Review | Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr

Hey everyone!

So recently I have rediscovered my love for eye shadow! I've never really been one for wearing too much eye shadow, if any in fact, but a couple of months ago I discovered the Maybelline Color Tattoo eye shadow pots and have been obsessed ever since! I first purchased Permanent Taupe, a matte beige/grey colour, to play it safe but I absolutely loved it so went out and bought three more, ooops! The other three which I have are, Pink Gold, a baby pink with a shimmer, On and on Bronze, a simple gorgeous bronze shade and Metallic Pomegranate, a red toned shimmer bronze. All four of these gel-cream eye shadows are highly pigmented and do not crease when on the eyelid, which is probably, for me, the best thing about them! They look great on their own all over the lid but also work amazingly as an eye shadow base! My favourite by far is On and on Bronze! I wear this almost every day all over the eyelid and is incredible for this time of year! When the sun catches it, it creates the most gorgeous bronze shimmer!

Top Left: 40 - Permanent Taupe | Top Right: 65 - Pink Gold | Bottom Left: 70 - Metallic Pomegranate | Bottom Right: 35 - On and on Bronze

Left to Right: Permanent Taupe | Pink Gold | On and on Bronze | Metallic Pomegranate

I absolutely love these products from Maybelline and would highly recommend them to everyone! Have you tried any of the eye shadows above? Or have you tried any different shades? Let me know in the comments below!

Review | No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Lotion

Hey everyone!

So today I am reviewing the No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Lotion, which I have been using for around about a year now! I use it every single night without fail after removing my makeup and it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and smooth. The bottle has a pump dispenser meaning no cleanser is wasted, so you can conveniently use as much as you like. I apply a small amount to a couple of cotton wool pads and that is enough for the whole face. I used to suffer quite badly with spots around my forehead and chin, but since using this product, apart from the odd spot every now and then, my skin has been as clear as anything. The No7 range caters for a variety of skin types from dry to normal to oily; my skin can get pretty dry at times so I picked up the cleanser for normal/dry skin and it suits me perfectly! It comes in a 200ml bottle so you get plenty for your money, and one bottle can last me between two and three months. This cleanser is only £9.50 a bottle and it is so worth the money; you can also usually get it on three for two in Boots and very often when you spend a certain amount in Boots, they give you a £5.00 off No7 skincare voucher, which makes it only £4.50 a bottle, which is such a steal!

I absolutely love this product and would highly recommend it to everyone! Have you tried this cleanser and what do you think of it? Let me know in the comments below.

MAC Collection

Hi everyone,

So I've been wanting to do a collection post for a while now but wasn't really sure what to base it on. Recently, my MAC collection has been growing so I thought I would share it with you! I absolutely adore MAC products and if I had an unlimited amount of money, MAC is where I would spend it!! The products are that little bit more pricey than drugstore makeup, but they are definitely worth the money! They last such a long time, so you can justify spending that little bit more. My collection is not the biggest and there are many, many more MAC products that I have my eye on (sorry in advance bank account), but for now, this is my collection...

Studio Fix Fluid - SPF 15

What is your favourite MAC product and what would you recommend?

NOTD #4

Essie - Under Where?

I absolutely love this shade! It is the most gorgeous lilac toned purple nail polish and it is ideal for this time of year. I had been wanting a pastely purple colour for ages, but hadn't been able to find the right colour for my skin tone. That was, until I went for a trip to my local designer outlet, and noticed a new makeup shop! You can imagine my excitement as I ran through the doors, where right in front of my eyes, I saw the word ESSIE!! I grabbed a basket and headed straight to the stand, where I realised that I couldn't afford every single nail polish on the stand, so just settled on two; this was the first and the second I'll leave as a surprise for a future NOTD! At just £4.99 each, instead of £7.99RRP, I just couldn't resist! I would highly recommend this nail polish; it applies to the nails so easily and dries very quickly. It is also very opaque meaning I only had to apply two coats! It is a must have, so go out, buy it and add a pop of colour to your Spring outfits!

Let me know in the comments below if you have this nail polish and what you think of it! What is your favourite Essie nail polish colour? And which one would you recommend for me to try?
